Tube: Black, oil resistant, synthetic rubber
Reinforcement: Braided, high tensile steel wire. 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ are one layer of braid; 5/8″, 3/4″, and 1″ are two layers of braid
Cover: Nylon yarn or steel wire braid
Temperature: -40℃ to +150℃ (-40℉ to +302℉)
Engine Oil Cooler Hose circulates oil between the oil cooler and engine. This helps keep the engine from overheating. If the oil cooler tube fails, there will be oil leaking from the hose and a low oil warning.
Rubber transmission cooler lines consist of a inner synthetic rubber tube, SS304 soft steel wire reinforcement and a nylon yarn or steel wire braid cover. There is a SS braid outside, making oil coolant line light in weight, flexible and durable.
